Here are answers to some common questions

  • How do I book a reservation?

    Click on Book Now!  Search for your dates, guests, and location, and follow the prompts to book your cozy getaway!  Please message us with any questions you have. 

  • Are there parking options?

    If you have a vehicle; here are your parking options:

    1. There is 2 hr free parking on the street M-F from 7am to 6pm. It is free all day on the weekends and holidays. Technically, you can park there from 4pm to 9am M-F without having to move the vehicle.

    2. We have a few limited parking spots at the lot next to the building at the rate of $9 per day with unlimited in and out privileges. If you are interested in that option, please click on the parking tab and click Pay For Parking Pass Here.

    3. Downtown Central Library garage is on 10th St. and Baltimore. They charge by the hour with a max of $10 per day. The address to the library is 14 West 10th St.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We accept payments through our booking site.  You can pay with your credit or debit card. 

  • What if I need to cancel my reservation?

    100% refund of the amount payable if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.

    50% refund of the amount payable (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 7 days before check-in.

    No refund if you cancel less than 7 days before check-in.

    Please message us with any questions or concerns you have about cancelations. 

  • Can I check in early, or check out late?

    CHECK-IN: Check in time is 3:00pm. Door codes will not work until exactly 3:00pm.


    CHECK-OUT: Check out time is 11:00am. All door codes will expire at 11:00am.


    Please request any additional check-in or check-out times during the time of your booking, or send us a message with your request.  We will do our best to accommodate the request. 

  • Kansas City - Are there grocery stores near by?

    Consentino's Downtown Market is just a few blocks away. Great deli, hot foods, sushi, and salads to go as well as regular staples.

  • Kansas City - Are there restaurants nearby?

    Within Walking Distance From Your Loft:

    1. Power and light district- there are many local and chain restaurants within walking distance.

    2. Majestic Steak House - next door. been there for many years and is a great old steak house. they also have live jazz downstairs like and old speakeasy

    3. BRGR- casual- burgers, salads, local specials (Power and Light District)

    4. The Mixx- amazing salads, sandwiches, pasta (Power and Light District)

    5. The Ice House- serves some of the best BBQ made by Kansas City Joes. (Power and Light District)

    6. The Quaff- local dive restaurant with great food. It's a 2 min walk from the loft.

    7. The Phoenix- another local dive bar- restaurant with live music- 5 min walk from the loft.


    Restaurants- need to drive

    1. Kansas City Joes BBQ - in an old gas station. One of my favorite BBQ places.

    2. Jack Stack BBQ- you can take the KC street car off main st to get close enough to walk. Streetcar is free and runs all day till 2am on the weekends.

    3. Graham and Dunn- At the Plaza- about a 15 min drive.

    4. Lydia’s- beautiful Italian Restaurant by renowned chef Lydia Bastianich

    5. The Parlor- live music downstairs- very industrial vibe- its a bar with different places for food you can order inside- it's a fancy food court with a bar and music!

    6. Farm to Table restaurants- The Farmhouse, Westside Local, Room 39.

    7. Bolings Chinese- several locations, the closest one is in City Market- dim sum, locally owned.

  • Kansas City - What kind of entertainment is near your property?

    1. Union Station- you can take streetcar. will drop you right in front. There is usually a different exhibit every few months. There is also a planetarium inside.

    2. Crown Center- across the street from Union station. Lots of restaurants, shopping, lego land aquarium and the Hallmark visitors center. Fritz burgers is in there. they deliver food by train-hydraulic system to your table.

    3. Jazz District- lots of places to listen to live Jazz

    4. Kansas City Zoo

    5. World War 1 Museum- Across the street from Union Station and Crown Center

    6. Tons of bars in Power and Light- There is also usually some live band - check their website to see what events may be happening that week.

    7. Boulevard Brewery- if you like beer, you can go there for a tour and a tasting.

    8. Nelson Atkins Museum- Beautiful museum with great works of art from the Masters.

    9. City Market- 5 min drive from loft- or you can take streetcar. Lots of small local eclectic shops and restaurants. Also has the Steamboat Arabia museum. It houses artifacts from the Steamboat Arabia that sank in 1856 with 200 tons of cargo.

    10. Westport- 10 min drive- eclectic shops and restaurants

    11. Plaza- 15 min drive- lots of outdoor shopping, tons of restaurants- . One of the oldest outdoor malls in the country.

    12. Crossroads area, First Friday of each month event. . Our community comes alive as arts organizations, galleries, studios, and a wide variety of businesses in the district feature local, regional, national, and international artists. Also catch one of the Crossroads’ creative wall murals or visit our exciting new Art Alleys between Baltimore and Wyandotte from 18th Street to Southwest Blvd which are filled with Art Vendors and their individual artistic creations! https://kccrossroads.org/first-fridays/

    13. Kansas City Public Library- 2 blocks from the loft- Architecturally an amazing building! Take a pic in front of the wall of books outside!

  • Pismo Beach - What kind of entertainment is near your property?

    Enjoy the 1200-foot Pismo Pier for sightseeing, walking, fishing and seeing the great sunset.

Take a leisurely walk on our award-winning boardwalk adjacent to the Pismo pier. Shop at the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets, and be sure to visit the California Welcome Center while there.

  • Kansas City - What are the transportation options available near your property?

    1. KC Street Car- Free service, stop is on Main St. 2 blocks from the loft. Comes every 15-20mins and runs late on the weekends. Will take you to River Market, Power and Light, Union Station, Crown Center, Lego Land, World War 1 Museum, and other attractions near downtown KC.

    2. Scooters- there are scooters for rent throughout downtown KC

    3. Uber, Lyft and Taxi services

  • What guest essentials are provided in your properties?

    TELEVISION: There are tv's in the loft. Local channels and wifi are provided by Google. To access, please make sure that the tv and google box are both on and the TV is set to HDMI 1. For Netflix, you will have to sign in to your own account. Please remember to sign out of anything that you used your personal account before check-out.


    LAUNDRY: There is a washer and dryer inside the loft. There is an iron & ironing board. You will find enough detergent for one or two loads of laundry.


    KITCHEN: The kitchen is equipped with most small appliances, cook/bakeware, place settings, etc. For your enjoyment, we provide coffee, creamer sugars etc.


    BATHROOM: Leave the toiletries at home! We provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Extra towels and a hair dryer are located in the bathroom. Please do not use hair dyes or tanning sprays in the bathroom. Stains may result in additional cleaning charges.

  • Is smoking allowed on your property?

    SMOKING/E-CIGARETTE POLICY: 

    THERE IS NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND INSIDE THE BUILDING OR ON BALCONIES, DECKS OR ROOFTOPS. 

    This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vapes or marijuana. Smoking is permitted outside on the sidewalk. In addition, please do not burn incense. 

    There will be a $200 fee for smoking inside anywhere mentioned.
